Tour Itinerary

1

1h 30m

Get ready to tick off a major bucket-list experience! Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel in Cairo or Giza, and head straight to the legendary Pyramids of Giza Plateau.

2

30 min

Time to meet the star of the show – the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest pyramid in the world! You’ll have plenty of time to snap jaw-dropping photos, walk right up to the entrance, and explore the surrounding area. Don’t miss the chance to check out the ruins of King Khufu’s funerary temple, where the mummification magic happened over 4,500 years ago. Next up, it’s time to visit the Queens’ Pyramids, including the one belonging to Queen Hetepheres – Khufu’s mom. Fun fact: her pyramid is open for visits, but only Sunday through Thursday, so plan accordingly! If you’re feeling extra adventurous and want to step inside the Great Pyramid itself, you’ll need a special ticket – but no worries, your guide will be happy to help you sort that out.

3

30 min

Next, it’s time to explore the Pyramid of Khafre (also known as Chephren), the second-largest pyramid on the Giza Plateau. What sets this one apart? Those smooth, fine limestone casing stones that once covered the entire pyramid – and if you look closely, you’ll still spot some of them clinging to the top. It’s a cool reminder of how these pyramids once gleamed under the desert sun, reflecting light across the landscape.

4

30 min

Last but definitely not least, you’ll visit the Pyramid of Menkaure – the smallest of the three giants at Giza, standing at around 61 meters tall. But don’t let its size fool you! What makes this pyramid extra special is the granite outer casing that still clings to its lower section. And here’s the mind-blowing part – that granite was hauled all the way from Aswan, over 1,000 kilometers away!

5

30 min

Next up is a visit to a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint where you’ll get a front-row seat to all six pyramids and the sprawling city of Giza in the background. You’ll have about 30 minutes to soak it all in and snap those Instagram-worthy shots. This is also the perfect spot to hop on a camel and ride through the desert like a true explorer.

6

30 min

Your adventure isn’t complete without a close-up encounter with the legendary Great Sphinx! With your entry ticket to the pyramids area, you’ll get up close to this iconic guardian of the Giza Plateau – a majestic figure with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. Take your time, soak in the ancient energy, and snap as many photos as your heart desires. After all, how often do you get to stand face-to-face with a 4,500-year-old mystery?
